On March 22nd, 2023, the 3rd Editorial Board meeting of Artificial Intelligence Surgery (AIS) was successfully held online. Thirty Editorial Board members (EB members) with strong academic backgrounds were in attendance.

Under the leadership of Prof. Andrew Gumbs, Editor-in-Chief of Artificial Intelligence Surgery (AIS), the Editorial Office of AIS successfully held an online Editorial Board meeting on 21 September 2022 to greet 32 new Editorial Board members and discuss a published white paper and future development plans for AIS.
Recently Prof. Franca Melfi, the pioneer in the field of robotic surgery, is co-interviewed by Dr. Sara Parini from Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Maggiore della Carità di Novara (Novara, Italy) and Dr. Elisa Sicolo from University Hospital of Pisa (Pisa, Italy).
We are pleased to announce the "Artificial Intelligence Surgery 2022 Best Paper Award". The papers will be selected from the original articles and reviews published in Artificial Intelligence Surgery from January 1st, 2022 to December 31st, 2022.
The 2nd Editorial Board meeting of Artificial Intelligence Surgery was successfully held on April 27th, 2022, under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Prof. Andrew A. Gumbs. 32 Editorial Board members participated in the meeting.
We are pleased to announce that the journal of Artificial Intelligence Surgery was approved by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) on 22nd Feb 2022 and is now a member of COPE.
Artificial Intelligence Surgery (AIS, Online ISSN: 2771-0408) was officially released online in January 2021 and published its inaugural issue in December 2021.
On October 18, 2021, the National Academy of Medicine in United States announced the list of newly elected members this year(National Academy of Medicine Elects 100 New Members).
