Artificial Intelligence Surgery (AIS, Online ISSN: 2771-0408) was officially released online in January 2021 and published its inaugural issue in December 2021. AIS aims to become a cutting-edge platform for publishing papers in artificial intelligence (AI) in surgery, focusing on the interface of computers and the art of surgery, such as smart surgical technology/digital surgery, computer-assisted surgical systems and surgical data science, etc.
Under the leadership of Prof. Andrew Gumbs, the Editor-in-Chief, the active cooperation of all Editorial Board Members, and the assistance of in-house editors, AIS has achieved fruitful results.
