The 2nd Editorial Board meeting of Artificial Intelligence Surgery was successfully held on April 27th, 2022, under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Prof. Andrew A. Gumbs. 32 Editorial Board members participated in the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Editor-in-Chief Prof. Andrew A. Gumbs stated the current status and future plan of Artificial Intelligence Surgery, including papers, special issues, and webinars.
In the free discussion part, Prof. Carla Pugh, Prof. Gaya Spolverato, and Dr. Isabella Frigerio addressed the growing role of women in the field of surgeons. Prof. Mohammed Abu Hilal suggested that Artificial Intelligence Surgery could focus on hot topics related to AI in pancreatic surgery. We Believe that with the collaboration of such an enthusiastic team, Artificial Intelligence Surgery will flourish in the near future.
